RAW Poppy Mini Cake aka “Makovec”

This is the best RAW thing I’ve eaten so far …

In Czech it’s called “MAKOVEC” –  and that means poppy cake. I used to love it as a kid. And now it’s time to go back to “makovec” and make it in gluten-free, RAW and vegan version.
RAW Poppy Mini Cake aka "Makovec"
  • 1 cup Cuckwheat groats
  • 1 cup Poppy seeds (whole)
  • ½ cup Coconut Oil
  • Agave to Taste (I used approx. 4 tbsp.)
  • ¼ cup RAW cocoa
  1. First add the buckwheat groats and poppy seeds in a blender or food processor and blend until you get fine "flour". Add all the remaining ingredients and process. You should get a dough consistency (if it's too thick, add more coconut oil). Press the dough in a small cake form and place in a fridge for at least 3 hours.
