Mulled Wine – No Added Sugar

Since I am going to Iceland soon, I’ve started looking for warming-up drinks. And this is no. 1 choice – Mulled Wine with spices, oranges, and no sugar added.

Orange Mulled Wine - No Added sugar
  • 1 bottle red Wine
  • 2 sweet oranges (partly cut in cubes, partly juiced)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 cloves (whole)
  • 2 star anise
  1. Add all the ingredients to a sauce-pan and bring to simmer over medium heat (no boiling!!). Let simmer for about 10 minutes to let the spices and orange infuse the wine. Drain and serve! Hot of course!
